Leading U.S. Fundraising Executive Seabolt Joins STELLAR Team

This can only advance STELLAR’s already strong reputation even further for highly successful campaigns and further its dramatic growth. “Mike has tremendous leadership skills and an innate ability to engage organizations, its leadership and their communities in developing a vision for much greater levels of economic performance and community prosperity and instilling in them total confidence in the unique STELLAR process for getting them there,” said Cusack. Most recently, Seabolt served as Senior Vice-President, Business Development for National Community Development Services (NCDS), a competitor of STELLAR. He is credited with leading more than 75 campaigns in his fifteen year career there and is described by his former firm as “focused”, “organized”, “on point” and “successful”. “Mike Seabolt has individually led more campaigns than likely anyone in the fundraising business; that’s a lot of talent and experience to put behind our client campaigns,” Cusack noted. Seabolt expressed his excitement about his new leadership role and ability to use his experience and enthusiasm to advance STELLAR’s already strong record of campaign success. “I’ve always respected STELLAR Founder and CEO Terry J. Prior to joining NCDS, Seabolt spent twenty years with a Fortune 50 company where he obtained valuable experience on the “other side of the desk" and a great understanding of the factors that motivate corporate executives to participate in fund campaigns. While there, he formed the company’s charitable foundation and oversaw its operation for eight years. Having also run his own service company for five years, Seabolt brings both small business and corporate experience to STELLAR’s clients. Mike earned his MBA from the University of Georgia and an Industrial Management degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He and his wife Kathy reside just northeast of STELLAR headquarters in Jacksonville in St. Simons Island, GA and are the parents of three sons.
