Brand New Illinois EDC DuPageBiz Selects STELLAR
 With an ambitious new plan and organization to retain, grow and recruit new jobs in DuPage County, Illinois, which is located just outside of Chicago, the newly created DuPageBiz EDC has hired STELLAR Fundraising to conduct a funding feasibility study to measure community support for a proposed $7.5 million fundraising campaign.
The effort is being led by Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mike Skarr. In a conference call with STELLAR’s executive team, Mr. Skarr pointed to STELLAR’s responsiveness and past successes as key factors in his Board's decision to choose STELLAR over several other national community fundraising firms. “Literally within minutes of contacting STELLAR via email on a Saturday morning I received an email reply from STELLAR Founder and CEO Terry J. Cusack with the information I needed, followed immediately by a call from Terry offering further assistance. STELLAR has continued to be impressively responsive to all our needs and I must have already told about ten people about the level of customer service I’ve received from STELLAR. They stood out head and shoulders above the rest and their selection was an easy choice” said Skarr.

August 1st - 4th ACCE Annual Conference Sacramento, CA
Once again STELLAR is proud to support the ACCE Annual Conference. This year's event will be held in Sacramento California starting on August 1st. August 15th - 17th TCCE Annual Conference  Pickwick, TN
STELLAR Founder and CEO Terry Cusack will be attending the 17th annual TCCE conference. The event runs from August 17th through August 19th in Pickwick Tennessee. Terry will be available to answer questions and offer fundraising advice to attendees.

 On July 27th STELLAR Founder and CEO Terry Cusack spoke at the Annual FACP Conference. His discussion focused on how to run an effective Feasibility Study and Fundraising Campaign. The audience, made up mostly of key decision makers from Chambers through Florida, found the information important and relevant. One attendee remarked "He (Terry) understands the difficulties that Chambers face when trying to raise funds. . .he had his finger on the pulse of fundraising." That's because New York City tops the Forbes list as the No. 1 city for young professionals.
That likely comes as a shock to, well, no one. Many of America's best companies, as determined by Forbes' rankings of the best 400 big businesses and best 200 small businesses, including financial giant Goldman Sachs and media conglomerate News Corp., are in New York. Throw in New York's bars, clubs and world-class dining, and you get a city teeming with young professionals.
San Francisco clocked in at No. 2 and Atlanta at No. 3. Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston and Seattle filled spots four through seven, and Minneapolis, Philadelphia and Denver closed out the top 10.
