STELLAR's Back in Gainesville, GA on Heels of Successful Chamber Campaign Ready to Help Local Arts Group: ProMusica
The Gainesville ProMusica Concert Series has been a proud part of the rich musical heritage of the city of Gainesville, GA for more than 56 years. Originally called the Gainesville Artist Series, the organization's current name was adopted in 1978.
Gainesville ProMusica, headed by Jack Bell, is devoted to enriching and expanding the musical life of residents in the Gainesville and Northeast Georgia communities. The ProMusica Concert Series offers the finest music to be heard anywhere, performed by world class musicians at an affordable price. ProMusica currently presents three evening concerts a year, plus an additional day time Young People’s Concert. A key part of ProMusica’s commitment is to educating and cultivating new audiences, students are offered FREE admission to all of their performances.
STELLAR has been retained by ProMusica to development an aggressive New Multi-Year Initiative, to conduct a Fundraising Feasibility Study and to implement the proposed fundraising campaign, provided sufficient financial support is found during the study for the Multi-Year, Six-Strategy Initiative that includes:
- Create a permanent endowment to support operations and expansion of the Gainesville ProMusica Concert Series
- Add additional Young People’s Concerts
- Add a fourth and fifth outreach concert to our season each year
- Create joint concerts and programs with other local and regional organizations
- Create scholarship program for deserving youth musicians
- Create new music education programs in traditional community venues
