North Carolina's Piedmont TRIAD Partnership chooses STELLAR/Capital
Strategists Group
The Piedmont Triad Partnership, which serves 12 counties in North Carolina
including the cities of High Point, Greensboro and Winston-Salem, has
chosen STELLAR to conduct an in-depth
funding feasibility study.
Due
to its large geographic coverage and the recent completion of other
economic development fundraising campaigns within the region, the
STELLAR
team brought in Capital Strategists Group (CSG) to provide the needed
return-on-investment (ROI) and case development work. According to CSG’s Tom
Ralser, “This is the kind of complicated situation when we are typically
called in to help. It fits perfectly with what we do best: show a return
to those who will be asked to invest.”
Tom will spend the first month of the process developing the value of the
proposed program, or Organizational-Value-Proposition, a term invented by CSG to describe ROI for nonprofits organizations. This will then be
condensed into the prospectus used in the funding feasibility study.
STELLAR Team to Keynote Professional Development Course
STELLAR will be providing an advance seminar for the Mid-America

Strategies, Developing Return on Your Investment in Your Economic
Development Program” at the organization’s
2003 Mid-America
Competitiveness Conference, to be held December 7—9, 2003 at the Swissotel in Chicago.
STELLAR’s Terry Cusack, Jack Allston,
CEcD, FM, and Tom Ralser, of CSG, will share their
considerable expertise in these subjects during the session and be
available throughout the conference to discuss attendee’s questions or
concerns.
