The Choice is Clear: It's STELLAR!

Pete Tesch, President & CEO of the Ocala/Marion County (FL) Economic Development Corporation, recently announced a fundraising feasibility study aimed at support of a far-reaching marketing plan, and that STELLAR was chosen to perform that study.  Read what the Ocala Star Banner had to say about the initiative.

The most recent addition to the list of STELLAR commitments is represented by the Clay County (FL) Chamber of Commerce and the Clay County Development Authority STELLAR will assist with the design of a bold new economic and community development strategy and test financial support for a fundraising campaign through a community-wide feasibility study.

Jobs Now!

Jobs Now, Inc., an economic development agency for the Flathead Valley (MT), wants to raise $2 million to pay for marketing, business relocation and expansion programs and other initiatives as part of a five-year plan.  STELLAR will continue to guide the effort of this very effective organization.

Yesterday's newspaper accounts gives all the details.

New Team Members

Two new faces have joined the STELLAR team during the month of May and are already hard at work for STELLAR clients.

A strong sense of commitment to community service led Jim Carlson to a focus on nonprofit organizations. His management and fundraising experience includes service as executive director for the American Heart Association and the Arthritis Foundation. He also has served as finance director for several political campaigns. During the last eight years, Jim has raised more than $10 million for various nonprofit and political organizations across the United States.

Jim earned a Master of Public Administration degree at Harvard and serves STELLAR clients as Vice President and Senior Consultant.

New Vice President and Senior Consultant MariElizabeth McKeon, JD, has helped numerous clients with a wide variety of efforts including campaigns, development audits, and feasibility studies. Earlier in her career, MariElizabeth was the Director of Development at Seton Hall University and managed alumni relations and annual giving for Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine. MariElizabeth also served as the first director of development for Mother Cabrini High School in New York City.  She earned her Juris Doctor degree at the Massachusetts School of Law.

MariElizabeth leads campaigns smoothly from preliminary planning through a comprehensive feasibility study. Guiding with a steady hand, she focuses the campaign to ensure timely success, all while positioning your investor relationships for the future.
