New Projects!

The list of organizations placing their trust in STELLAR grew by two more during the past month as more communities retain the firm to implement bold new initiatives for 2005 and beyond.  According to Terry Cusack, STELLAR Founder and CEO, "Our clients recognize the critical timing of conducting a fall 2004 feasibility study that places their organizations at the front of the line for 2005 and corporate giving budgets".

The Rome (GA) Chamber of Commerce will look to STELLAR for the design of a bold new regional economic and community development strategy.  A comprehensive STELLAR feasibility study will measure community support for a major fundraising campaign. We're particularly pleased to be able to work with Chamber CEO Al Hodge, one of the most effective of economic and community developers in the Southeast.

The Hunting and Fishing Museum of Pennsylvania also joined the STELLAR roster in April.  The Museum is located on two islands in the Allegheny River ( a National Wild & Scenic, Recreational River) in a setting in which hunting and fishing in Pennsylvania actually takes place, and attracts both sportsmen and non-sportsmen.  STELLAR will oversee a seamless feasibility study, sponsorship assessment and multi-million dollar fund raising campaign.

New Team Members

Two new faces have joined the STELLAR team in April and are already hard at work for STELLAR clients.

Tom Micelotta comes on board as Vice President and Senior Consultant.  Tom’s career includes more than a decade of non-profit and community development service. He has conducted feasibility studies and directed successful capital campaigns, raising more than $20 Million dollars for Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA’s and at-risk youth and health services organizations in four states.

Tom is busy directing a multi-million dollar economic development fundraising campaign for the Albany (GA) Area Chamber of Commerce.

New Vice President and Senior Consultant Gary Bidne brings twenty-five years of service in the field of philanthropy, having served a wide range of nonprofit organizations.  Throughout a comprehensive consulting career, Gary’s guidance and direction has helped countless organizations and their constituents. As a consultant to organizations serving education, healthcare, social services, religious groups, municipalities and senior housing development, he has helped raise more than $50 million for important community initiatives.

Gary will lead STELLAR's Hunting & Fishing Museum engagement in Pennsylvania (above).
