Georgia campaign leaves goal in the dust
Powered by the momentum provided by previous multi-year
campaign successes, and with the assistance of
STELLAR planning
and support, the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, of
Gainesville, GA wrapped up an aggressive fundraising effort well over
anyone's expectations last month: $1.85 million in pledge
commitments on a goal of 2.2 million! Chamber leaders announced that
over 120 investors have pledged more than $2.4 million in the future of
their community, bringing the campaign to a dramatic conclusion.
Titled "HALLmark VISION - A Clear Path to our Future", goals of
the effort included the funding of a comprehensive community visioning
and goal setting initiative, economic and community development through
business attraction and retention, assistance to retail and small
business development, and support for education and workforce
development.
Iowa campaign aims to double the budget.
With
STELLAR on hand to design, test and launch the effort, the
Iowa City Area Development Group (ICAD) has staged an exciting
Kick-off event from a position of strength with 75% of the goal already
committed by public and private sector leaders who stepped up early to
ensure that this critical economic development initiative is successful.
The campaign is on target to wrap up over goal this summer.
Iowa football coach and icon Kirk Ferenze was on hand to assist
ICAD
president Joe Raso in getting the campaign announced publicly.
Titled "Creating Advantage, Investing for Results", the $3.75 million
fundraising project started at a breakfast meeting attended by more than
150 area business leaders and public officials.
