Stop Wasting Time: Avoid the "Event Trap"

Too often, fund-raising focuses on a specific event when it should be emphasizing an organization's overall program.  By avoiding the "event trap," you involve more of your constituents, engage local leaders more fully and increase the return on your investment of time and resources.  The ultimate result is that your organization does more good for your community.

Learn more about improving your organization's fund-raising results and the importance of avoiding the "event trap" by following this link to the STELLAR web site.

STELLAR selected by Scottsdale Chamber

The Scottsdale (AZ) Area Chamber has embarked on an exciting plan for the attraction of new investment and sustainable redevelopment efforts targeted at the southern part of the city.  Called "Building On Success", this effort will result in a national and international marketing campaign aimed at attracting high-tech services, software, business and financial services, and bio-tech companies, as well as regional headquarter operations.

STELLAR was chosen to help package, test and fund the "Building on Success" initiative.

Congratulations to IEDC!

Congratulations to Jeff Finkle and the entire International Economic Development Council team for what was yet another outstanding event at the 2004 IEDC Leadership Summit in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida.  STELLAR was proud to support this great learning and networking event.  Follow this link to find other can't-miss IEDC events.

The Albany Area Chamber Goes with STELLAR

The Albany (GA) Area Chamber of Commerce will look to STELLAR for the design of a bold new regional economic and community development strategy.  A comprehensive STELLAR feasibility study will measure community support for a major fundraising campaign.

STELLAR Chosen Once Again

The Christian Sharing Center (FL) has chosen STELLAR to test a multi-million dollar campaign through a comprehensive planning and feasibility study.  The Christian Sharing Center is a non-profit, inter-denominational ministry helping children and families in need in Seminole County, Florida since 1986.

The STELLAR Instant Poll; Vote NOW!

We're introducing a useful new feature this month: the STELLAR Instant Opinion Poll.  Take a moment to answer this months question: Do you expect your organization's 2004 budget to increase, decrease or stay the same? poll results are available to participants, but only one vote per reader will be recorded.

Congratulations Terry and Ben!

Yahoo and Big Brothers Big Sisters have chosen STELLAR CEO Terry Cusack and his little brother Ben Nowland to represent one of their "100 Greatest Stories of the First 100 Years" of that organization.  The not-so-little brother Ben recently signed to play for the NFL Washington Redskins and will spend his off-season playing in NFL Europe.
