New Year...New Home!

The STELLAR team will move into new digs next week, as we relocate and reorganize for better client service.  More on the move, and the new STELLAR home, later this week.

Georgia on My Mind...

One major Georgia campaign came to a successful conclusion this month, while another jumped off to a running start.  The STELLAR directed effort for the Albany Chamber of Commerce tallied $2.2 million, well beyond the $1.8 million goal.

Meanwhile, with almost 70% of their goal already in hand, several hundred business leaders joined members of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce recently to officially kick off a bold new economic and community development campaign.

Chamber President Al Hodge, pictured above with STELLAR founder and CEO Terry Cusack, was on hand to help generate some team spirit.

Congratulations to STELLAR campaign Vice Presidents Tom Micellota (Albany) and Terry Purdy (Rome) for jobs well done.

Indiana project taps STELLAR

The Northeast Indiana Corporate Council (NICC), a consortium of business and industry leadership in and around Ft. Wayne, has chosen STELLAR to oversee the feasibility study related to a proposed regional economic development fundraising initiative.

"Earlier in my career", said STELLAR's founder and CEO Terry Cusack, "I had the privilege of directing a highly successful $15.5 million campaign for the Indy Partnership.  I'm excited about leading the STELLAR team to Indiana."

New to the STELLAR Team

Two new faces join the STELLAR roster thismonth.  Rod Crider returns to the team in time to supervise the NICC feasibility study (above) and Tammy Simon, of Jacksonville, FL will take over as Director of Operations and Finance when the move to Jacksonville is completed.  Both new team members come to STELLAR with impressive credentials.

Two STELLAR appearances

Members of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) will be joined by STELLAR founder and CEO Terry Cusack as they convene this week.  Next month Terry will be accompanied by Kent Just, the newest member of the STELLAR team, at the annual conference of the Western Association of Chamber Executive in Las Vegas.  Look for the STELLAR booth and say hello.

Tsunami Relief

The unparalleled tragedy in South Asia has generated an equally unparalleled relief effort.  People from around the world are contributing to this effort and we at STELLAR are urging all to join us by contacting the American Red Cross or your favorite relief agency today.
